Abstract

INTRODUCTION
The rapid digital transformation of businesses has significantly influenced how organizations formulate policies and make strategic decisions. Decision Support Systems (DSS) have emerged as vital tools that assist managers in analyzing data, forecasting trends, and making informed decisions. In industries characterized by speed and operational complexity, such as
quick commerce, DSS plays a crucial role. Zepto, founded in 2021, has revolutionized India’s grocery delivery ecosystem by offering ultra-fast deliveries within minutes. Its business model is built on hyperlocal logistics, dark stores, and data-driven decision-making systems. The company operates in a highly competitive and regulated environment, requiring efficient policy formulation regarding inventory management, delivery timelines, workforce management, and customer experience. Decision Support Systems enable Zepto to align its operational strategies with business objectives and market demands.
